Day 88 so long Ernie!

The day starts with cleaning and clearing the van, it wasn't that bad, left over food that won't fit in my pack gets binned and I'm hitting the road, along with at least six other vans making their last trip! 

A quick scruff of one of the farm dogs 

and I head towards rejkyavik

the usual spectacular scenery

I'm not sure what Google was doing but it added a scenic route around Grindavik adding at least an hour to the journey.... Presumably it thought the roads still closed from the eruption.... Turns out they weren't! 

But on this supposition I cancelled my hostel in Reykjavik and booked a guest house in Keflavik about a mile from the airport, it does mean I don't visit Reykjavik at all! But I'm not hugely bothered I have things to do! Handing in Ernie at happy campers

I'll miss that little van, highly likely I'll buy an nv200 and make my own! The camper company does supply a shuttle service and I get delivered to the guest house...industrial unit would be a fair description of the outside!

Inside it's fine tho and not far from the beach...

Or a shop.... Food bought

And I hook up my net flix account to the TV and put my feet up!
